The rush had been so much more passionate, and Zenith had almost understood how his mother said she’d rather die than go without the stuff, his heart swelling with a lyrical tolerance towards all the shit in the world. But as his peak had gotten higher, so had the downside to the effect deepened. His hands had been shaking and his eyes had been burning and he had felt so very depraved. His mouth had been dry and reeking of every substance he’d guzzled down the day before and no amount of toothpaste had been able clean that taste off his tongue. His head had throbbed in beat with his heart, sharp and stabbing white light flashing behind his eyelids every now and then. Everything hurt, even when he checked the sores and found no wounds. He was sober again and it sucked.

Sneak peak:
There was a feather-soft sensation tickling his lips; the kiss of an angel. Breath so sweet was pushed into his mouth and hands soft as summer sunshine caressed his naked skin. He could feel the slim fingers dancing over the side of his body, fingering his ribs one by one until they reached chest and collarbone and eventually his chin. He was kissed again, lightly, delicately, innocently, a maddening sensation that send an adrenaline rush through his body to pool at his groin. Noir’s body jerked alive at the feeling, wanting to cover himself up, to hide his arousal as he lay naked and exposed in a flood of blinding white light.

He’d gone to see the doctor about it once, at which the small mound of excess flesh had been quickly identified as a supernumerary nipple.
